Shilpa wants to woo the ‘mujra’ way

No one can match her when it comes to ‘latkas-jhatkas’. She is a true stunner who never fails to impress with her dance moves. Shilpa Shetty undoubtedly has some of the best dance numbers filmed on her. But still there is something her heart wishes for.

‘I have been lucky to show my talent in some of the grooviest Bollywood numbers but I wish to perform ‘Mujra’ onscreen at least once,” disclosed the actress recently.

‘Mujra’ used to be an integral part of our movies in earlier times. The dance form has been performed by an array of actresses like Meena Kumari, Madhubala, Rekha, Hema Malini, Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sushmita Sen and Rani Mukherjee.

Shilpa feels that more than the moves, beauty of the ‘adaas’ and expressions on ones face and body language makes ‘Mujhra’ such an elegant dance form. We hope Shilpa’s desire is fulfilled for we are sure she will light up the screen with her act.
