In addition to appearing in almost 50 movies since making her 1993 debut, Shilpa has been a prominent figure on the world stage as of late -- something that’s due primarily to her innocent kiss with Richard Gere earlier this year. Shilpa has also had to overcome prejudice and racism stemming from her controversial appearance on the UK version of Celebrity Big Brother.
