SHILPA ARRESTED!!

Shilpa Shetty’s been arrested!!! Now we know what you’re thinking another Bollywood star going to jail, but honestly this one is just plain LUDICROUS!!

Shilpa was at a Mumbai Airport about to board a plane to perform her musical ‘Miss Bollywood’ in Berlin, when she was bombarded by immigration officials who CLAIMED she was still wanted for obscenity charges for the Richard Gere kiss incident. Is it illegal to kiss someone on the cheek?! If Shilpa can get obscenity charges over a stupid kiss on the cheek which she had no control over, then what about these pictures of Sheryln Chopra, who’s HALF NAKED!?

Aren’t these pictures more scandalous than a simple peck on the cheek between two fully clothed people? We have no issues with Sheryln’s pictures, more power to her, but what’s with Bollywood being so hypocritical?

You don’t see Aishwarya getting arrested for kissing Hrithik Roshan in ‘Dhoom 2’! Just what are these officials trying to prove? You tell us… was Shilpa wronged or was this justified???

UPDATE:

Guess what guys? Turns out Shilpa hasn’t been arrested after all! Doesn’t it all sound like a wild PR stunt? Well, like typical Desi’s who can’t get their stories straight, her Indian spokesperson, Dale Bhagwagar, is saying that Shilpa called him in tears, while her UK spokesperson, Teji Singh, is saying the exact opposite! Teji claims there was no arrest or anything out of the ordinary and Shilpa was just asked to show her paperwork.


As for all those awful pictures of her in tears, she again claims it’s a cold… blah what a convenient excuse! Guess this PR stunt worked, because we fell for it and Shilpa’s name is back in the news… maybe it’s just a coincidence that her musical, ‘Miss Bollywood’ is about to premiere in Germany, ya sure!
